Seating concept for
visitors in hospitals

Modern hospitals are efficient and organised locations, so concieved to guarantee smooth and trouble-free processes and operations. Operations are not only important on the medical level though.  Host-chair is a seating concept for Denmarks efficient „superhospitals“ of the future. „Host“ is a piece of furniture for the waiting room. It is made up of a rail on which securely installed seating surfaces, as well as mobile elements such as chairs, tables and other utensils can be securely hung. The chair as a mobile element can be removed and allows the visitor to sit wherever they choose. The request to hang the chair back on the rail once done is implicit in the design. Host chair allows fo many seating scenarios and requirements and optimises the room usage.
